Can't Beleive Its Sugar

I love commercials, they provide me with such entertainment, and good matterial, I just saw this one ad, that just made me gape at the TV and think, how the hell does that even begin to make any sense, and does no one else see how incerdiably stupid it is.

The ad was for this product called Splenda, and basicaly it is artifical sugar made out of real sugar. Ok, what am I missing here really? How can something be artifical if it is acutally made out of the product it is attempting to be an alterntive to? And if you wanted sugar that was made from real sugar, then I do not know, why don't you try sugar for instance. and the best part is and this totally looks like something that should be in a skit comedy show. There is this scene where this woman and her kids are all eating like cereail and such with splenda sprinkled on it, and this narrative voice says. "It tastes just like sugar, becasue it is made from sugar"

What?

That would be like if there was some Can't Beleive It's Not Butter ad that was like. "Can't beleive its not butter, taste just like butter because it is made from butter, but it is not butter, it is just made from butter.

Sugar that is bad to our health...

Actually, i read one of the news here in the internet regarding sugar that cost bad effect to our health which we found in some softdrinks, and some sugar that the say low sugar...which they called "artificial sugar" that contains some chemical that can affect our healths.

dumb options

instead of equal and/or sweet n low some people like splenda cause it's sweetenig ingredient is a (chemical) bi-product or raw sugar...so in the dumbest terms it is made from real sugar....i don't think the people that like it are substituting it for real sugar but for the other sweeteners. it's all about the calories to some people and the health risks to using these unnatural products is an afterthought at best.

Stupid commercials

I won't comment on that sugar commercial, but there are two commercials out here that I think are really stupid. In the first one an ugly, scruffy, middle-aged couple is sleeping and all of a sudden a foul smell wakes them.They try to find the source of the stench, and discovered the electricity has gone foul. Then the slogan comes in, in which an electricity company claims that apparently other electricity companies, or at least some people, claim that electricity can expire, while I have never seen any such claim ever being made by anyone

In the second one, an Audi car drives up a steep ski jumping hill, and then it says, "Don't try this at home." I think this should be forbidden by law. In fact I think that whatever you claim is possible in a commercial, you should be forced to encourage anybody to try. Don't just encourage, post Audis at every ski jumping hill in the world, and persuade people to do it there and then.
