The Joys of dealing with people

Well I had a bit of an unpleasent experince at the video store today, most the people that work thier are usually all pretty cool, and you know they have that sort of goth, or sort of rock and roll look the kind of people I am cool with typically. Typicaly long dark hair, unshaven, black nails, silver jeralary and so forth, and they are all usually very nice and easy going, but there was this different guy there today, light hair, cut short, clean shaven, just had a look about him you know, the kind of look I do not usually jive with, and I do not mean just physcial apperence by that, but a whole demenor that goes with it, and I was wearing this t-shirt I got from one of the Celtic fairs I go to, it was a black t-shirt that said

Unorthodox

PAGAN

Celtica/ Isle of the Barbairans

and in addtion I was wearing the silver cross I always wear, it is like my personal taislman or good luck charm, and so he said in this sort of smart ass way, thinking he is being cute, "So what do Pagan's haver thier own cross they use as a symbol becasue I thought that was a Christain symbol" Clearly he was a Christina that just could not deal with the fact that I was wearing a Pagan shirt and a cross, but well the way I see it, though I know he really did not care or have any intrest, if you do not want to hear it, then don't open your mouth, so I figure sense he asked I will explain, so first I just say that typicaly Pagans use the Pentagram as thier symbo, and he is looking at me glazed over clearly not comperehending what I say, so I thought I would explain just a little bit about what the pentagram is, and I could tell he does not really want to hear it and is not listining, and walks away at one point while I am still trying to talk, well originaly I was just going to leave it at that, but sense he really annoyed me with his attitude I said, when he came back just to gode him, but all still in a very civil and polite tone, "the cross does predate Christainty and was originally used by Pagan's to symbolize the four elements and four winds" and I could tell he really was annoyed and just wanted to tune me out and did not care for anything I was saying so after that I just left with my movies.

But though it was fun getting to irritate him, I was still left a little irked by the whole thing becasue it has been a long time sense I had to deal with any hostility on a personal and individual level, and it was very unprofessional of him to be disrespectful to the public he is suppose to serve and is lucky I was not in the mind to complain to him about imposing his beleifs upon others.

Yeah, over here Christians are ever more like that as well, poking their noses into affairs that aren't their business. I recently heard someone in TV lecturing about the Bible saying it's a disgrace for men to have long hair, and I do (I'm a brownish shade of blonde though, not at all dark), and fortunately for him he was bugging some kid about it, and not me.

I've read somewhere that it is 9/11 rather than anything else, that caused Christians to act like this. They seem to think that if they live more religiously the Islamists will leave them alone.

Also, I'm wondering, how doesv he get along with his co-workers?

Yeah I wondered that too, I cannot picture him getting along with some of the other people that work there that I have encountered, most who seem very cool, he seems like he would be uptight around them, because it was a totally different vibe from him then the others.
