Hair DilemmaWell for a while now I have been having his sort of dilemah and inner struggle with myself concernting my hair. I have very long and thick hair, I use to be called Repunzaul and I am quite found and attached to my hair, I have never had it cut, and never plan to, but well at times it can be a bit burdonsome to take care of and I can be a bit of a procrastanator about things, so needless to say it perhaps does not get washed as much as it should for varrying reasons. For one well becasue it can be kind of a drag as it does take time and work and I just do not get around to it, I think I will do it then I won't feel like it and it won't get done for like 3 or 4 more days, and another, I have always found baths more relaxing then showering but I hate having to try and wash my hair in the bath, it just does not work very well with so much hair, if I am going to wash my hair it is going to be in the shower, but there are those days I just want to relax in the bath and not bother with a shower, and well this is something that never really bothered me before, but well some years back I cannot say just off the top of my head how many I would say around 4 or 5, I went on this trip to Italy, and it was part of EF Tours, I do not know how many of you are fmaillar with them, but they are a group that works with schools so arrange trips all around the world, so I went with a group of kids from my school as well there was another group from a different school a part of the planned trip, and so often there would be like 3 or 4 girls that had to room together in the hotels and because of this I got in the habbit of just taking a shower every night, in part becasue some of the rooms did not have baths, only a shower, and in part just becasue that is one of my quirks not liking to use a tub after someone else has been in it, so anyway, becuase of this I washed my hair every night, and I aboslutely loved it, it was like silk, and I always wished I could keep it that way again but I could never get myself to shower enough to do so, but well another part of it is that I do end up going through a lot of conditioner, and so I would really have to stock up or be having to buy new bottles more frequently if I did end up washing my hair on a more regular and daily bases, and well I do not want to have to sacrifice my bath time because that is an almost ritulistic and medative act for me, taking a bath for me is really more then just hygene and getting physcialy clean but a shower just does not do that for me. And well a part of my renewed intrest in the proper care for my hair does stem from the fact that Matthew adores my hair, and made me promoise him once that I never would have it cut, which of course I won't because I am quite found of it myself.6:47 PM - 3/26/2007 - post comment
