The Choking GameWell I just heard on the raido, that there is this new thing that apperently is popular among teenagers, and it has all these millions of different names, but basicaly what it is, is getting togetehr with a group of friends, and chocking each other untill you pass out. Or in some cases trying to chocke yourself untill the point of passing out.
I have to say, I do not get this at all, and do not see what appeal this would have in any light, it just seems stupid to me, even Russian Roullette makes more sense to me then this, which I think is equally stupid, but at least with Russian Roullette I can understand there is that thrill factor, that sort of excitement, of wondering if you can get away with it, and what will happen, and how long your luck will hold out. I mean I can get that sort of living on the edge kind of getting a rush when you pull the trigger and it goes click and you survive, still inrediably idiotic but at least I can wrap my mind around why a person might do it
But this whole chocking thing seems to lack any sort of thrill facotor to it, you know what is going to happen, your going to pass out, granted there is always the risk you go to far or something goes arwry and you end up suffocaiting yourself but that does not seem to have that immidieate sort of rush to it as Russina Routllette provides, so I just really do not see what this game is ultimately achiving or acomplishing or really doing for its partiscipants, nor how it even got started to begin with.
And yes I know there is that whole fetish thing of people who like to be chocked during sex and that really gets them off, but this is not about that, this whole chocking game is a complete sperate entity from that, and does not have that sexual connection to it.
