The Bonding RitualFenton found himself standing within a dimly lit room, just before him upon the floor a large circle was traced in red, could it have been blood? Fenton was not sure he wanted to know, the only light within the room came from the candles which lined along the outer edge of the circle, directly opposite of him, against one of the circles arches there was what appeared to be an altar, which contained various sorts of things of which he had never seen before, but within the movies. Was this all really happening? "I must perform a bonding on you if I am to help you." The familiar though not altogether welcome voice cut into his thoughts as he had nearly completely forgot that he was not alone, his eyes now turned upon that woman as she persisted. "For this to work, you must do everything I tell you without hesitation or question, if you cannot do that, then there is nothing I can do for you. Now strip off your clothes, all of them," she put a special emphasis upon those last two words, as if to leave no mistake, "and step into the circle." Fenton felt as if he were on the verge of something, something incredible, he had a sense deep down, that this was it, what he did here would change the course of his life, but he began to wonder if this was all a mistake. Should he really be here? Maybe he should just leave, forget this ever happened, but then that image of the mangled body flashed back into his mind. This might be his only chance to understand what he was, to make sure that never happened again, he had to do it for Erila, to protect her, even from himself. Slowly he began to peel off the still blood soaked clothes that now had stiffened with the repulsive drying liquid, he had to admit at least he was not sorry to see those go and he tossed them aside before continuing to undress until he stood completely nude and he stepped forward, carefully just over the candles to enter into the circle. Once he was inside of the circle Sasha would shed her own clothes, the firelight seemed to dance off her body as she would step into the circle to stand facing him, the first thing she would do was remove from the altar what appeared to be a small cauldron, removing from it a rag which was soaked in the water held within. "Raise your hands" He did as he was told, his eyes fixed upon her, with only a foot between them, he could feel the heat of the candles lapping between their naked bodies. Once he had brought both his hands up she began to wash the blood from them diligently. When she had finished cleaning his hands she turned back to the altar as she set the cauldron down and lifted a dagger turning back to face him the light reflected upon the blade, and the hilt shimmered in silver, though he did not so much as flinch at the sight of the weapon, oddly he did not feel any fear at all. The point of the dagger was placed just against his chest at the center of it, before she pressed the blade in, and slid it down it down his body stopping just above his navel, only enough so to draw a trail of blood and cause a faint sting of pain. Sasha then drew the dagger away from him before flipping it around to offer to him, his fingers closed around the hilt as he took the dagger from her, as her eyes locked into his, there was a silent understanding between them, and words were not needed, he knew what he was to do and he placed the point of the dagger just between her breasts before pressing down and sliding the blade down across her soft flesh as the crimson stained her skin in a sharper contrast then upon himself for her lighter hue. Stopping just at her navel he pulled the dagger away. Sasha slid the dagger from his fingers and dropped it back upon the altar and she stepped up to him her body now pressed against his, feeling her flesh to his flesh, causing their blood to mingle together was one between them she raised her hands and pressed her fingers against his temples and then let her fingers trail down his body, stopping now and then only for a moment, at various different points. It caused Fenton a strange and curious feeling, almost as if something was being tugged from him from within him drawn out of him, though it was nothing he could name. Her fingers stopped just against the back of his legs before she would step back from him turning around she lifted a chalice from the altar and turned facing him once more she brought the shining jewel incrusted goblet to her lips and tilted it back taking a sip of the unknown liquid she lowered the chalice and passed it over to him. Fenton took the chalice from Sashas hands and followed her lead bringing it up to his own lips to drink of it, though he could not quite identify what it was, he tried not to think about it too much, passing the goblet back into her hands she accepted it and soon the aroma of incense began to fill the air a book was now taken, opened to a previously marked page Sasha moved to stand just behind the altar. She began to read, in indistinguishable and unknown words that made no sense to Fentons ears it was not of a dialect which he could trace to any known source. Her voice filled the room and vibrated through his very bones, a strange feeling began to overtake him it was almost constricting at first, and was the cause of a wealth of emotions his body began to tremble but he felt paralyzed unable to control even his own limbs, though a part of him wanted to bolt and run he could do nothing, he felt as if all energy was drained out of him, a weak nausea swam in his head, when Sasha would slam the book closed suddenly, and the last of her words seemed to just hover in the air, slowly dissipating, Fenton collapsed. 10:36 PM - 4/5/2007 - post comment
