Revival
A new wind rushes beneath
my feet, soft feathers
kiss upon my face
Through the clouds I
soar away, breaking
in my wake, as waves
of the ocean far below
I imagine Poseidon with
his trident, within the
endless deep
Skipping across sunrays
recalling lessons of
Icarus, plunge down
far below
Fly free as a falcon
leap high like the salmon
beneath the mists of waterfalls
I bathe
Lost the shadow while
dancing in the rainbows
a lost treasure has been
found
Rediscovered I prance
across the lily pads in
fairy dress of gossamer
silks.
