I have been doing some thinking, when something had just happend to come to me, and the more I mused of it, the more it really began to make sense. Jesus was like the very first hippy, if you think about it, all the pisces tend to fit together.
First of all, look at his physcialy apperance, the long hair, unshaken, that long tunic, forck thing he always wore, and come one, were not rope sandles like the very first burkonstalks? And then there his princples and how he lived his life. He was anti-establishment, anti-goverment, and faught against the "man" for the "little people" he did not have a job, but traveled around with his little commune, in the company of a woman who was sexually loose. He turned water into wine at party's and was all about love and peace, anti-war, anti-violence, beleived in equality for all.
Tell me that is not a Hippy

I hate to burst your bubble, but...
There is no physical description of Jesus found in the Bible, and going by Roman historical scriptures it is not likely he had long hair. It was simply not the fashion in Judea in those days, and appearancewise Jesus never stood out from the crowd. Judas had to kiss him to betray him. The soldiers would never have recognized him otherwise. Also, a beard first appeared on paintings of Jesus about 250 years after the crucifixion. Still, his teachings on love and peace are worthy of the term 'hippy'. There I agree with you.
