PremonitionI just got done watching the movie Premonition with Sandra Bullock, and I have to say I think it was just about one of the most pointless movies I have ever seen.
I will warn you before going further, if you have not seen the movie and plan to do so, I will be giving away parts of it including the endings, so do not read beyond this point if you are bothered by that sort of thing.
Ok now onward
Basicaly the movie is about this woman, who finds out her husband had been killed in a car accident but you get the sense that maybe thier marraige was having certain problems at this point, but then when she wakes up the next morning her husband is alive again, and so she ends up traveling back and forth between time from before her husband was killed to after his death but she looses track of the days in between or what happens, so there will be people whom claimed she talked to that she does not remeber or things happening that she does not remeber and so forth, and while this is going on she starts to figure things out and put the pieces together of what is happening, and in it all, it is reveled that thier relationship was strained, and they had dirifted apart from each other, and then she finds out that the day he died, he was on his way to hook up with this woman from work but up to that point he had not offcialy cheated on her but was about to. So for a while she begins to think about just letting him die but then she has a change of heart, and she begins to try and repair thier relationship.
So she wakes up again on the day he is suppose to day, and she goes off to try and stop it somehow, and he is driving in the car, and he gets a call from the woman he was on his way to meet, but then he tells her that he cannot do it, he cannot be with her, and he realized what is really imporant and that he loves his family, and then he gets killed for real.
So the whole premiss of the movie was she is given a secound chance with him, only to watch him die right when they rediscover thier love for each other. 9:34 PM - 8/20/2007 - post comment
