One things, perhaps one of many really, that I cannot beleive, is that in this day and age, the world of baby clothes is still divied up into girl pink and boy blue, paritcuarly for infants and really young childern. Of course normaly I have no intrest in anything related to childern and should not even take notice of such things, but from being out and around, becasue of my neice, it is near impossible to find anything for little girl's in the infant catagory that is not pink, and I do everything within my power to forbid everyone I know from buying anything pink for the child, both becasue of my personal dislike of the color, and the fact that I refuse to let her be conditioned by soicity to beleive that girls have to accept and like pink. I personaly will only shop at hot topic for baby clothes for her, and would not buy anything anywnhere else.
But is it not about time, in this day and ago of all things to oblitherating the Pink and Blue divide all togehter? Why not bring in some neutral and unisex colors, why not offer all colors of the color specturm for both sexes equally, why not have greens, reds, oranages, yellows, blues, ect...for girls and boys alike?
It is a very odd thing that in this world, in this country, when it comes to babies and childern, sexisim still runs rampid.
