Drink, Eat, and be MerryBecasue of my dislike of anti-smoking groups, I decdied I would post this charming little story I heard on the raido. though I myself do not smoke and I have nothing against people whom choose not to smoke, I do have a problem with the anti-smoking compagin, for a couple of reasons, first of all, it is haressment of something that last time I checked was still a perfectly legal activity, and two, last time I checked tabacoo companies were not breaking into people's houses and holding guns to thier heads to make people smoke, so we have these aniti-smoking nazis harressing people becasue they make the personal choice to engage in a legal activity, and for them I give you this.
There is this woman who first started smoking when she was 7 years old before the start of the first world war, by the year 1914 she had begun to smoke 5 ciggerates a day, every day. She still smokes up to this day, and has smoked all her life. Today she is celebrating her 103 brithday.
Now as far as I am concered this just goes to show you, that when it comes down to it, all satastics, science, and technology is bullshit, it might be based upon acutal data and true cases but no one really knows the secerets of life and death.
There are plently enough stories of this nature, of people that according to satastics should have lived long and healthy lives, people that ate good food, exerocised, did not smoke or drink whom ended up dying at the age of 40 of a heartattack for unknown reasons.
And there are stories of peole that live up into thier 90s and 100s whom have lived horrible lives health wise, whom gorged upon fatty foods and sat on thier ass all day.
Then there is everything in between, but ultimately when it comes right down to it, there is no aboslute plan for longeivity, nor is there any ultimate death scentence, you never know what really is going to happen, and what is meant to be shall be.
So just go out and live your life and enjoy it, without stressing off all the bullshit of what anyone else tries to tell you, you should or should not do. 11:37 AM - 8/28/2007 - post comment
