Suspended

I am so annoyed and pissed off right now I just had to rant becasue I just do not understand.

I went to go on my DA gallery today to discover that my account had been suspended for 2 weeks, they say becasue I posted pornographic mattieral.

Now I had started posting several erotica stories on my DA gallery, but the thing I do not understand is that

A. They have a catagory specfically desginated for posting erotica

B. I have read varrious stories from other members of the same nature of my own, it was reading the stories from different members that first gave me the idea to start writing.

So I am not really sure just why they have decidied to single me out and decide there was a problem with my stories. Or what they decide is acceptiable erotic, opposed to what is not.

And they do not explain anything, as for thier reasons except some vauge explinations but they do not give me the specifics of just why my stories were in violation.

I have a deviantart account and I have posted several stories with sex or erotica in it. That is too ridiculous! I am with you lady!

Thanks for your support, I apperciate it, yeah it is pretty silly, and I don't get it, I sent them a message asking them to clearify, what sort of erotica they allow and what they do not, becasue I did not see what was wrong with my stories compred to others I read.

Oh boy...

It does say 'Occurrences of Underage Sexual Activity', and I know that this is by law prohibited in many countries around the world,
possibly including several US states, even in fiction. In the Netherlands we're working on outlawing it.

I don't see the harm in most of it, because minors do have sex, so why not address the subject, as long as you don't abuse reallife children or speak of really rancid lusts, but the site must be afraid of lawsuits.

There is a lot of censorship going on on the internet right now. If you have a Flickr or Photobucket account for instance, any semi sexual tag for an unrestricted photo means the photo is deleted. If you have a photo showing footballs, golf balls, basketballs, etc., tagged balls, it might very well disappear from your account, without them even looking at it.

Another example is YouTube. The Thai government have extorted them into deleting certain offensive videos about their King, simply by blocking the site entirely.

Chinese versions of search engines block sites that the government think pose a threat. We thought the internet was going to give us more freedom, but the tyrannies of this world weren't sleeping.

Still, how do they know all this? Did someone tell on you?

Oh Brother

If it's a site geared toward erotica then I don't see what the problem is. There is the usual warnings for people who are sensitive. Kids find much worse by googling terms that have nothing to do with anything 'dirty'. I hope you get it sorted out. It sounds completely subjective to me.
