Death of Music
Sound speaks
Rhythm broken down
a melody dissected
while harmony is logicized
soul begins to disappear
searching for answers
only erases the question
diminished to something meaningless.
A drop of tear
enough to bring the music back
revisit what has been stolen
by the need to analyze
sadness in the scattered parts.
Understanding does not always
live inside the head, where
destructive forces dwell
but through the skin absorbing
the spirit into the cells to be
carried away, not ingested
in the heart muscle but
the inner heart.
