The Next Revolution
We are all wasted
Can you taste it?
On the garbage
That they feed us
Yet we still continue to consume it
The lies shoved down our throats
When will we open our eyes?
Stand up and shout
I have had enough
Perhaps it is time
Another revolution came
If you were all not left so lazy
The fat keep getting fatter
The poor keep getting poorer
Non-citizens keep getting more rights
Free health care, no taxes
Hey, what about the rest of us?
Left in the background
Perhaps it is time to
Stand up and shout
Got you so full of terror
You sit frozen to the TV
Wondering where the next attack will come from
Turning a blind eye to everything pulled out from under you
Scandal after scandal
Don’t seem to matter
Clinton cannot get a blow job
Without turning the world on its head
But Bush sends your children to death
And spits in your face
And you sit back and
Take it!
