More Pagans Need To Read

Posted in Thoughts
There is something rather odd that I have noticed and that also somewhat distrubs me just for my own personal reasons. I am involved in several different liteary forums. One which has a focus upon more classical liteature, one for fantasy lit. and one for Historical lit. I am also involved in a few sites for writers, and it seems that all of these places have a very strong Christain base, though the sites themselves are not really designed to be affliated with any particular religion, a high majority of the members tend to be Christian, which just always leaves me feeling like the odd man out. Which is also prpobably way so many of them are against sex and violence in books, though if they ever acturally read the Bible they should not be, I mean come on, can you really get any more hypocritcal then that. But anyway that aside, that is a whole new topic, it can be exhausting sometimes becasue personal views always seem to enter into discussions as well most of these boards have places for discussing other things then just books, general discussion and of the like and I just feel so outnumbered not that I have evere really been acutally attacked but well it is exhausting not having more vairty at such places and I often find myself in disagreement with many of the people becasue thier beleifs affect thier overall opinions on things which is often in contrast to my own line of thinking.

Christians

JournalHome is about the only place on the internet where I haven't yet had a run-in with Christians who feel I need saving. It must be a conspiracy.

So true

Yes agreed, when I first started my Book of Shadows here I was a bit weary of the reaction I would get but so far I have only recived good feedback and those that do not agree seem to have just resepctfully kept it to themselves.
