Close Call

I thought I had lost my new rabbit today. As I had mentioned before at first we did not know what we were going to with Astarte, as we did not have a place to to keep her, and we thought about first, taking her to my grandmas house becasue she use to have a rabbit before, and then we thought of just letting her run around the backyard, but at Pet Smart they had this cute, and fairly small sized rabbit hutch, that we thought about getting but we have not yet done so, so for the time being the rabbit is being kept in this cage though it is a rather nice cage really nothing umcomftrable, so when I clean the rabbit I just put her in the dog pen, as I no longer have the dog obviously, becasue it is a closed in area, where I did not think she would be able to get out and get away and it is easier to clean the cage out when the rabbit is not in it. So I was cleaning out the cage, and I cleaned the other rabbit was well while I was doing so, then I went back to to get Astarte and there was no sign of her anywhere. I looked in the old dog house becasue sometimes she hops in there and looked around and could not find her. She is a pretty small rabbit so I thought she must have found some way to squeeze through and get out, but then I did not know if she had gone out the backyard, or out into the front yard, but I figured if she was on the backyard she would turn up sonner or later and so I went to look in the front first, but I could see no sign of her anywhere and it had not been that long really, though rabbits can be pretty fast, she is really very tame and docile, so I could not see her being the type that would just take off, so I was looking all around and could not find her, and then I began to worry if she got in the neighboors backyard, so I was trying to look over the fence but of course could not see all of thier yard, but did not see the rabbit anywhere, so I did not know what to do. I was half thinking about getting my other rabbit and putting him on his leash, they make speical rabbit leashes and seeing if he could trake her down by scent becasue when I clean him out he alwyas goes crazy casue he can small the other rabbit becasue I usually clean her first.

Then I thought that sense she is rather small maybe there was a chance she was still in the dog pen just hiding somewhere and I did not see her, so I went to look again, and we have a fireplace and so against the side of the house where the dog pen is are the bricks of the fireplace and on one sidie between the brick and the fence there is this like compost bin with dirt and leaves and such in it and it was kind of tilted on its side, leaning against the brick, and I was looking down and I saw the rabbit she had crawled almost completely under the bin.
