You ever see a commerical where you really cannot tell if it is suppose to be for real or not? Where a couple of times I have seen this ad, and both times it was late at night, and on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim so I kept thinking, is this really real? Or just part of some joke of skit? Becasue they acted like it was real but it just seemed so ridiculously that I did not think it could be.
It was for this CD, and it acted as if it was suppose to be a paradoy of those commericals where they will have some really cheese music, like 80's music, or like Country's Greatest hits, or something that no one would acutally buy in a store, but they are trying to get you to order it, and they like have the scroll of songs on the CD and play random selecion.
So it was set up like that, with all these women dressed up like from the 70's dancing to the music, and the music itself seemed pretty outrageous and the voice of the announcer and the little captions all seemed like it was just making fun. And then at the very end he says something like "Its for real" but almost in a saracastic way.
So it was bothering me, trying to figure out if this really was real or not and there was like this website they would advertise where you could get the CD from so I went on it just to see what it would say and appernetly well it is both real and fake.
That is there really is a CD that you can really buy, but the website looked like it was tied into someway with Adult Swim, becasue it sold a lot of Adult Swim products and things from Adult Swim shows, so the whole thing proabaly was done as a joke.
