Well I was just sitting here board not feeling like going to bed yet and so what I sometimes do when I get board, is I end up just searching through the Random Blog thingy here, you know how some people have that tool bar on thier blogs, at the top, which has a Random Blog button.
Anyway, I like to play with that when I get bored, so as I was going through I came acorss one blog that said they had moved to wordpress and just above the link to thier other blog it said something like I have moved to a better place.
And I have multiple blogs both here and over at wordpress as many of your already know, and honestly I really do not see how someone could think that wordpress is better, and no I am not just sucking me, you know that is not my MO, but it is true that J.H. offers a good deal more control to members and options to free accounts, then wordpress does.
For one thing wordpress does not allow you to directly change your template and they also do not have any sort of user profiles/PM system like here. So you are limited to what you can do with your blog as far as a layout and it is more difficult to view, brouse other blogs or get in touch with other members or make yourself avilaible if you want.
Wordpress works well enoug for my "Theme" blogs if you will or side projects, but for a serious blog I think that JH really is better and offeres more.

Wordpress v Journalhome
I agree wholeheartedly. JournalHome offers by far the most control over the look of my blog of any blog host I've tried. The only good thing about WordPress must be that they have far more active bloggers, so you will attract more readers. Sometimes I think it's a shame we're such a small community here, but luckily we don't have certain types of bloggers here that could get on my nerves. Xtian fanatics, for one.
