Quiet PleaseFor some reason, I get really freaked out by people who hum or sing in public, and I do not mean just people who are signing along with music, becasue I do that all the time, but when they are humming and signing when there really is no music present. Like for example if you are out the super market and someone is just walking down the drink aisle signing to thesmelves.
For some reason something about that really creeps me out, and I do not like being around people who are humming or signing, I just want to get away from them. One time when I was at one of my favorite book sales, and for some reason weirdos always show up to those things, there was this woman or man, I cannot remeber which now, standing near to where I was looking at the books and humming to themselves. It really was weriding me out, and I just wanted to hurry up and get away from them, or wanted to tell them to just be quiet, becasue I do not like it at all.
And what was really bad, is when I went to see Atonement, which by the way is a horrible and pointless movie, that I do not recomend, the woman sitting right next to me, would like sing along whenever there was music playing within the movie. And the thing is the background music in the movie did not have any acutal words, but I guess the music was taken from acutal songs which she happend to know, becasue she would start signing to herself everytime, and a couple of times I almost said shut up.
Then tonight when I went out to dinner and we were in the parking garage, there was this janiter guy walking around picking up trash, but he was sining to himself as he did it, and he happend to just be walking in the directing we were, he was walking along behind him singing. I just thought that it was reall eerie.
I do not know why, but for some reason I have it in my mind that anyone who sigins hums without the pressence of music, or in a public place that is not condusive to singing and huming, lilke a movie theather, must just be pyschopaths. 6:25 PM - 1/11/2008 - post comment
