I am sure many of us are famillar with the vairty of birth control pills out there now being advertized, and of course now the big thing, is birth control pills that also shorten or stop your period, well there is this one I see a lot that just makes me laugh.
It is called Yaz, and in the latest commericals for it, it is talking about how not only does it shorten the period to up to 3 days, but it also treats a vairty of symptons that go along with having a period, cramps, bloating, moods etc.. but then at the very it says, and it says and it is great for acne, Yaz helps keep your skin looking clear.
What? It is a birth control pill, what the hell does my skin have anything to do with that?
Also, I love how at the end, and they give all the side effects and warnings, they always say
"You should not take if you may be pregnant"
Umm, if you are already pregenant then it is a little late for birth control I think, and if you are trying to get pregnant, then why would you be on birth control to start with?
Yeesh!
