The Unforgiveable

Posted in Thoughts
I do not know what is wrong with me, yes, I know there are a lot of things wrong with me, but there is one particular thing of which I am speaking of right now, and that is the fact that for some reason I have such a strong, vile loathsome reaching to cheating. I know the majority of most people are disapproving of it, but for me, I really take it personally, I am deeply offended, and I myself have not in fact ever been cheated upon, so it makes no sense. I respond to it as if it was something that personally affected me, even if it involves complete strangers. Like if I find out someone was unfaithful, read something in someone's blog talking about some affair they had, or something of the sort, even if I do not know anything else about them, I will wish horrible things upon them because of that. I am absolutely convinced that it must have to do with some past life experience I have had, because my reaction to it, does not make sense to me. If a complete stranger betrays their spouse or significant other, who I also do not know, then it really should not ignite a feeling of murderous rage within me, and yet it does. I even hate it when it happens in books with fictional characters, whenever I sense one character is going to cheat upon another I get in instant feeling of dread and disgust.

Unexpected Surprises

Posted in Movies
Saturday nights can prove to be quite amusing and interesting TV wise, as well often the weakens are completely dead for anything decent on TV, but while I am flipping through the channels desperately looking for something that will do well enough to just play in the background, I often stumble upon some little curiosity that I normally would never have found or watch, but for lack of anything else I figure why not. So tonight I cam across this movie of which I have never heard of before called Nemesis Games, and well so far it does seem to be rather interesting.

The Morning After

Posted in Poetry
The Morning After

First I open one eye
slowly, almost painfully
with just as much care
I open the other eye,
for a while I only stare

So this is what the next day
feels like, numb at first
but gradually feeling
begins to reawake

I am aware of things,
of skin and muscles
the moving of each limb,
yes, I am still alive

Memories return to the mind
movement becomes slow,
left in a space of waiting
for answerers to come

Was it all just a dream
or a nightmare,
I feel again like myself
but are things changed
perhaps forever

All in a rush

Posted in Raw

All in a rush it hits at once
there is no more hiding
where are there words
they fail the most
when you are endlessly trying

All in a rush it hits at once
no longer can you try and pretend
once when you thought you had made amends
I know these words are crap

What do they mean
nothing real just empty blubbering
what is thier purpose
to speak,
when you try and discover some truth
you hold back right when you have reached the peak

No breaking free
no reveal
locked inside yourself
what do you feel

Falling away
it begins to peel
like skin
now that it comes
you still fool yourself and wonder
which is true
and which is false

Is it all just a game
are you real
or made of parts
hewn and shaped
but by your own construction
how many fake emotions
have you molded from the clay

Yet what do you know
of your own feelings
hiding away
it was like a joke
but now
it might be bithed
into something more

But maybe this is the stage
are you seeking something
for yourself in this very moment
do you stand

Have you been made a fool
and so played the part of the fool
fooled others inadverntently
your deception was not intended
but was it to quickly made

What now is the purpose of this
but to hear yourself
speaking into the air
to be something more

Give it up
and chocke it down
is it yourself that you fool

Autumn's Calling

Posted in Poetry
Autumn's Calling

I can feel the chill of the wind
the sound of the leaves rustling,
like the steps of a ghost
for here there is nothing,

But a sense of loveliness
in the crisp fresh breeze
with air starting to chill,
it is the scent of Autumn
that lingers on.

Beauty of decaying fire
littered here and there
the tingling of rain which
rests heavy in the air.

Dampness so near to the touch
awakened in this rejuvenation
that I might wander like a ghost
and only the leaves will crinkle
in my wake.

I seem to slowly fade
in the bright burning beauty
surrounding all around me
whispering in the rain drops
and breath of the wind,

So who would see me,
made into a simple shade
while I pass these cool stone roads
so sweetly caressing falls new
sensations teetering between
life and death.

Stained Glass

Posted in Poetry

Stained Glass

Beneath this layer of dust

there still lives a heart

faintly beating, not wholly

forgotten

Still in the fading light

a breath is caught

when the eyes are awakened

to what may again be wrought

It begins only as a faint

glimmer, something yet left

to catch the descending

rays

Illuminating, slowly dancing

across strands of spun spider

webs, colors thought to have

dulled are quickened with

new found life

Watch as it begins to unfold

gently at first, but than

subliminal, such vibrancy

it may have only just been

set

So these old buildings sit

forsaken, left to rot and mold

while within they hide their secrets

with no one to witness

A window that is the soul

awakens the gloom

painted anew each morning

by a stroke of the sun

to glow with what only they

know.

Stop letting the Chruch dictate laws

Posted in Thoughts
After I gave some sass to my gay friends out there, it is time for me to come back to the other side again. All it took was listening to some anti-gay ignoramuses on the radio to get me all fired up, and while I still believe individual churches still have the right to refuse gay marriage I do not think they have the right to determine the laws.

Here is what I think. Personally I do not think Gay Marriage should be put to vote. I think it should just be a given, than in the United States, Gay Marriage is legal, period. End of story, don't like it, too bad. Now why would I, who is often spouting for freedom and rights even for people who I do not agree with hold this view?

Because last time I checked there is suppose to be this little thing called separation of church and state, and the primary reason why Gay marriage isn't legal in the majority country is because of religion. Period end of story. A discriminatory law is being allowed in the the USA because of the views of one particular religion. In the issue of Gay Marriage religion is being given power over the government and the citizens.

99% of all arguments against Gay Marriage are purely religious, and 99% of people who are against gay marriage are so on the grounds of their religious belief.

So the government needs to just step in here and say screw you religion, this is not a Papal Country, we are not run by the church, and we are no longer going to allow a religious organization propagate laws that go against the constitution of freedom and equality for all.

I think there needs to be more atheists in movement. Because from what I can see there is no plausible non-religious reason to be against gay marriage. Religion can still have their own personal individual rights, but I am tired or religions being the base of allowing bigotry laws within the country.
I defy anyone to produce a convincing, intelligent argument against Gay Marriage, which has absolutely no grounds in religion whatsoever. I have yet to hear it made.

Lucifer's Lamnet

Lucifer's Lament

Lucifer´s Lament

Whispers in my ear

the a bird of midnight spoke

a little taste of shadow

for the moons power would invoke

Upon flaming wing he rose

light was his name

but stolen with a blow

upon broken wings he falls

All feathers stripped away

I hear the distant music

when I pray, all sad songs

for the injustice

How one could not forgive

when a slave stands

upon their own to break

from tyrant masters

and soar free

Now the air grows cold

passion burning in the eyes

does he too not feel

the true victimized

Vilified by the weak

who fear to rise from their knees

he shelters those who break away

to find their own voice.

A word to my Gay friends

Posted in Thoughts
Anyone who reads my blog, probably knows by know that I totally support Gay Marriage, and Gay Rights.

Gay people, I love you, and I support you, but you have got to stop acting like A-holes, because believe me, that is not doing you any favors. You don't get to go around spouting about your own rights and freedoms, while trying to deny other people their own rights and freedom. Not everyone has to embrace your choices, and accept your lifestyle. Legally they cannot do anything to discriminate against you, but they are still entitled to their own personal beliefs and within their own churches they are allowed to have their beliefs and you do not have the right to infringe upon that.

I was just listening to the radio about how churches that refuse to perform gay marriage ceremonies are being threatened under lawsuits, and how Gays are trying to sue to be allowed into religious sectors and organizations which do not support or agree with their life style.

If you want to get married, than great, I wish you the best, I totally agree you should be allowed to do that, but if you go to a church and they tell you they don't want to marry you as a gay couple because it is against their beliefs, while I personally do not agree with Christian Conservatism, and Religious Bigotry, it is their right to hold those beliefs, and within their own church it is their right to act upon their beliefs. Just because you have the right to be married, does not mean you have the right to force a church to perform the service. Just as you are allowed to have the freedom to choose to get married, and to live the lifestyle you want. They also have a freedom to choose their own personal beliefs and to decide they do not agree with your lifestyle.

Even if a particular church refuses to marry you, you have other options to get married, you are not being prevented from your right to marry by a churches refusal to perform the service. You can go to a judge, or find a more liberal church.

But trying to say you have rights and freedoms, that you than want to deny other people from having, is not cool, and is not going to earn you any favors.

There was another story about a wedding photographer who refused to photograph a gay wedding because it was against their beliefs, and so they are now being sued.

Again, not cool. Guess what, they have the right to feel that way. Stop trying to force everyone to accept you.  On your wedding day, why would you want that sort of negative karma and energy anyway? Of someone being there grudgingly and resentfully, and not really sharing in the celebration with you.

Wouldn't you prefer to just find another photographer, their is no shortage of wedding photographers, I am sure you can find someone who would be more than happy to do it of their own free will. And all around, wouldn't that be better? To have someone there because they really want to be there?

Just the way you have rights, other people have rights to, even if they disagree with you.

So I love you guys, and agree you should have all the same legal rights and freedoms as anyone else, and that legally you should not be discriminated against. But sometimes you need to take a few deep breaths step down from your high horse and be a little bit more of a mature adult, and realize maybe other people have their own rights too, and you should not try to infringe on the rights of others, while you are fighting for your own rights.

The Oneness

Posted in Poetry

The Oneness

Balanced upon the edge
the abyss spreads before me
a tempest in the eyes
I have reached the end

The end of the universe
where darkness speaks
and silence wavers
the stars dance in spirals
all emotions combust into one
single pulse.

Feeling the rush
every thought
every word
a well which ever descends
and somewhere below
is the place it was all born

Washed away
into outer space
the end of eternity
weightless, lifeless
never falling

Looking within
to the divine
senses awakened
tingling with life

Dissolved
it is the end
of all and yet
the beginning of all

Spanning, spinning
understanding without
understanding

The heart of the world
beating, throbbing
full of life where there is
no life.

Awakening

Posted in Poetry

Awakening

Where have I gone

to the place we all go

the place where the Gods speak

Beneath the deepest well

atop the highest peak

we follow the flow

Where have I come

from the place we all come

the place the Gods weep

Beware of places water should be

and yet is not

Beware of places water does not belong

and yet is found

A fish that breathes

A fish that drowns

Where will I be found

in the place we all are found

the place the Gods are silent

What if the world was run

upon a spring

wound each morning

by a flightless bird

that only makes a whirr

We can see better with our eyes closed

so many shades of gray

dancing colors

passing light

while we slip away

I remember as a child

that place I always tried to reach

it came only as a glimmer

and struggle I would to get closer

always it disappeared

right when I thought I would finally land

But now I know

it was only blood sells

A wonder I could travel in their depths

so freely

like another world

What do I seek

something we all seek

in the place the Gods grow

Soulful Eyes

Posted in Poetry
Soulful Eyes

I caught a glimpse
of sad, wise eyes
watching

and I wonder
what has been witnessed
in the passage of time
through half-closed windows

Can I deny
somewhere there in lies
a waiting soul

without words
spoken to me
in a moment

lingering longer
than the seconds
I took to notice

The Lady of the Wood

Posted in Poetry
The Lady of the Wood

Her eyes did shine
like the river
and when she smiled
not even the sun could rival

Her hair seemed woven
from silk of the moon
and she dressed
all in ivy

To the song of the birds
she danced free as
a fish in the water

When then one day
it so happened
she heard a bard
at practice and play

The tune it moved
in her soul, so filled of sorrow
and woe, she began to weep

And into the wind
she would speak
her voice sweet melody

Minstrel of the wood
King of the lute
tell me my dear fellow
why play such a sad tune?

Struck by a voice
as sweet as honey
twas more praise
than any amount of money
so said he through his tears

"Oh Great Lady
Queen of this fine
green land, my heart
twas broken in two
by the maiden bound
I was to wed."

Your music
it has stirred me so
my dear Bard of grief
and mourning, tell me pretty
handsome lad, would nothingng
brighten your soul again?

"Oh sweet Muse
Lady of the Forest
if you might be so kind
to grace me with your beauty
than I may smile again."

A request from one
so despairing she surely
could not deny, and so
from the shadows she came
and before him did appear

So struck was he
by her perfect form
that he felt his heart
begin to mend

"You have given me
my greatest reward
more than gold and diamonds
you honor me as surely you must
be the Goddess of Love herself."

And from that moment on
ever did our young bard
play, only a happy song.

Uninvited Visitor

Posted in Poetry

This is my response to Vladimir Mayakovsky's "An Extraoridnary Adeventure which Befell Vladimir Mayakovsky in a Summer Cottage" and Frank O'Hara's "A True Account of Talking to the Sun at Fire Island"

In both poems the poets account thier conversations with the sun.

Uninvited Visitor

What do you want?
Hear you!
How could I not?

Ignore you I would
if only I could
but you are so demanding
commanding my attention

Can't you see
what you have
bares no interest to me?

Others have heard your call
and obliged happily
but alas not me

You are rapping at my door
but don't you know
there is another I obey

Your Shadow Twin
she who rises to bring
the night

We converse freely
but you're not welcome
you never understood our mysteries

So blunt
and brutal
expectant
and gruntal

Please! Please!
Go away!
I have not asked
you to stay

I am one you won't
call away

You will have to find another
to smother
to burn away at
in infernal gratitude
of your acknowledgement

But you paid too much heed
to me, so it seems
I can always feel your eyes
blazing on my back
your fingers
like death-rays

Put it away!
You ghastly brute
I will not write this ode
to you.

What do I know

Posted in Thoughts

Now admittedly I know nothing about fashion, and I do not have any interest in doing so. I am not overly concerned with matching, and I just ware whatever I want to ware. But sense when have I ever let a think like that prevent me from mocking others for entertainment value?

So I was watching MSNBC because they have some good political stuff on their and I get some good anti-Palin material from them, and this guy who was hosting one of the shows I like to watch, (he was actually a stand in host, the other guy who usually does it was not there) was wearing a gray pinstripe suite with a blue polka-a-dotted tie. And in my mind, pinstripes and polka-a-dots just do not go together, and I was thinking, what the hell where you thinking.

But than the guy who he was interviewing on the show was wearing a black pin-stripe jacket, with a red polka-a-dotted tie. So I was just like, well I don't know what I am missing here. But I personally don't get it.

Poltical Agnostic

Posted in The Silvernary
Political Agnostic: Well this is a term that was inspired by John McCain. A politcal agnostic is a polition who will not commit to a single poltical view, but seems, at different times, to hold contradictory poltical views. Someone who seems to be both in favor, and against both sides of an issue, and than refuses to admit that either one of those view points was the wrong one, even as they change thier mind.

When A Dove Dies

Posted in Poetry

When A Dove Dies

Beneath the sun

the dove´s broken wing

strangled by the light

floundered for flight

Round eyes rolling

in a distant fright

the circular pattern

of the orb repeated

in more ways then counted

In each flailing

rapid beat of a heart

smaller than a fist

A struggle in terror

with each gasped

wheezing breath

A death without understanding

but still a necessity

that however questioned

will not be lessoned

The ring of life

reflected in each round eye

at the moment

when they greet the sun

The burning ocular

that the cycle sweeps

circles around

It is the ring

in which everything

is connected.
