I relentlessly mock America for the fact its bleeding hearts, and the fact that complete and total morons are allow to sue someone else for their own stupidity and how this country no longer seems to really believe in personal responsibility, and the government trying to protect people from themselves, and so on and so forth. But I think it may just be possible Canada is worse. I just hope they do not start giving America any ideas. I just heard this story on the radio. There was this 12 year old girl, and she was caught by her parents posting inappropriate pictures of herself on some online dating site, so her father banned her from using the Internet. Than in some issue apparently relating to her ban from the Internet she got into an argument with her step-mother and so her father said she could not go on this school trip that was planned.
So this 12 year old girl took her parents to court, because she did not like the way in which they disciplined her. And not only did a judge agree to hear the case, but actually ruled in the favor of the 12 year old girl. And told her father, that he did not have the right to keep his child from going on the school trip, and that it was unfair to the girl to do so. And so he was ordered by the court to allow his child to go upon this school trip.
So the law in Canada will overule the way parents disicpline thier children
