Christians never fail to amaze me, though I really should be use to it by now, it is just so baffling at times, I wonder just what they are thinking. But then of course I have to remember they are not typically taught to think, or to use logic and reason, all they are instructed to know is that the Bible is the truth and what is in the Bible is all that matters.
But, it never fails to puzzle me, when I very clearly state my non-belief in their God and the Bible how they will than proceed to try and "intimidate" me into accepting their way of belief, by using examples in the Bible. And I am just like, no, you are not understanding, I do not care what it says in the Bible because it does not have any personal affect upon me. You might as well be trying to use something in a fictional novel to try and convince me to do something.
But it never fails, almost anytime one mentions they are a non-believer, at least in the Jedu-Christian God, they threaten you with fire and brimstone. They do not seem to quite grasp, that their fire and brimstone to me, is all in their imagination, it is all smoke and mirrors.
It is like "You are going to go to hell"
Well I really cannot go somewhere that doesn't exist. And in my world, there is no hell so I am not really not all that worried about it.
I was engaged in this discussion in which because I stated my non-belief in the Jedu-Christian God, and the Bible, they told me that God would say I was a lost soul.
And I was just like, well sorry, but since I worship the Goddess I am not really worried about what your God thinks of me.
You might as well tell me that Huck Fin would disapprove of me. For all the good it is going to do.
