What Love Is
My love quivers through my body
with a force which tears
apart each of my fibers.
A fire burns through my soul
as my love is a passion
spreading beyond all control.
Need aches within every nerve
as my love proliferates like a cancer
deflecting all attempts to stifle it.
My love rises upon growing waves
mounting up into a tsunami
which no boundaries or barriers can stop.
With all the power and force of nature
my love comes in a flood
rages like a hurricane.
Rips through my body
and sets my soul in a twister
throwing me into turmoil.
And when it crashes like thunder
debris is left scattered and in shambles
my love is mayhem.
