Dreamland
I have been living in a dream
a dream I created with my own hands
where I like to walk around
within the halls of this darkness
Silence echoes surround me
and I feel the velvet walls
as they embrace me
Feathers fall around me
where the white raven
watches with oracle eyes
In a distant sky
the music plays
while all the stars
fall into the sea
This is the place
where the land of the living
and the land of the dead
make their union
in love and strife
Is anyone ever prepared
for the long good-bye
to cross upon the threshold
Caught between waking and dreaming
I have seeded my own Eden
among the graves
I call my home
This is the space
I made with my own soul
where I like to come
within the darkness.
