Speak not of what you do not know

I am so tired of stupid people, it gets so irritatiing sometimes when you feel like you are the only one who knows anything anymore and you hear about the stupid things people are doing thinking they are being smart when it really makes no sense at all.

On the other side of the coin of that entery I did about wanting to remove the Easter bunny, the activists groups who are againist all Christain ideology want to get rid of the word Easter and call it the Spring Bunny, and the Spring Egg Hunt, ok, as I have already discussed before, don't these Jack Asses know the word Easter is not even Christain? And they really are not going after Christainty by getting the word of it. People need to just leave things alone espcially if they do not even know what the hell they are talking about.

I am also sick and tired of listning to whenver anyone is talking on the radio and the TV and so on, always going on about, how they do not understand what a rabbit hiding eggs has to to with the reseration of Christ. It dosen't and it is not suppose to. They are symbols of fertitlity dervived from the origional celebration of Easter.

And what the hell, don't people every reasearch anything anymore if they do not understand or know it? I mean they will just spew out anything and sound like ignorant assholes. I do not claim that I am always right, but when I post something on my blog for other people to read, I try to at least make sure that it is factualy correct unless it is something based soley on my own personal opinion but if it is something that is objective at all, then I try to do my reasearch before hand if I do not know for certain.

Alcohol the scape goat

Ok sense when has alchohol became the scape goat and excuse for everything any one does? And sense when has it become an acceptiable excuse that just explains everything away and removes peroswnal responseablity from ones actions?

I cannot count how many times now you turn on the raido or TV and some personality or figure is blaming this or that scandol on the fact that they have a drinking problem, and further more sense when has it become so popular and like a good thing to be viewed as an alchoholic? Not to mention isn't that one going to get old after a while? I mean how many people can pull that one out before people no longer buy into it? Or is alchoholsim just suddenly spiking as an epidemic?

I mean first Mel Gibson is anti-sementic becasuse he had a drinking problem, and Mark Foley molests youg boys because he was an alchoholic, and then there was that whole miss Amercia thing, and now I do not know how many people would have heard about this, but well the mayor of San Fransisco has been taking a lot of heat lately because it just came out that he had been sleeping with his best friends wife, and now of course he is saying that the reason he did it was becasue he had a drinking problem.

Killing Contest

I just got done reading on AOL News about this hunting contest in Montanna to see who could kill the most coyotes, and the winner gets like a 6,000$ prize. First of all I want to know, when is there going to be a see you can kill the most ranchers contest? Becasue I want in one that, and I will do it for free. Gods I hate ranchers, they are the most selfish ignorant useles fucktards ever to walk the earth just about (do a sense a new update on my make your own hell segment? I think I do) I am sick and tired of them bitching and moaning and whinning, becasue they move into the middle of the wildernes throw out a few grazing animals, that they only care about on a profit bassed level and then act as if they have some rights when the natural wildlife that has been thier before thier sorry patheitc worthless assess every saw the light of day, picks off one or two.

Oh and this is what the guy who started to contest had to say:

"I don't know why God put them on this Earth," said Jerrid Geving, a hunter who organizes the Baker event. "If He put them on this world to give us sport for hunting, maybe. But I'll tell you what, they do a lot of damage to livestock."

First of all only a Christan would say some sort of bullshit like that, becasue it is thee God fearing type that like to preach thier bull shit and go to chruch and think they are such good hearted people, and thing that any living thing that inconvinces them in some way should be removed. It is the Christan attitude that the only one who really matters is "me" and that everything on earth is here only to serve "me" and if does not, then it is worthless and I should kill it.

What good people.

Perosnally if that is what Heaven is made of, I rather burn in Hell.

Not Everything is Art

Well I just heard this story on the radio today, about this teacher who is getting in trouble becasue he is an "artist" and he has a video of how he creates his art, and well basicaly he uses his rear to create his so called art, and now the ACLU is defending him, on account of his rights as an artist to express himself how he wishes.

You have got to be kidding me, ok first of all, he is not an artist, get over it, you want to know what he is, he is a jack ass, who thinks, hey I can get away with any stupid as shit I want to do, as long as I make it look like I am an artist. I am quite tired of this, not everything is art becasue someone says it is, and not everyone who acts like an asshole is an artisit who should get a free pass.

What is with all this feel good shit? We do not need to give validation to a bunch of little bitches, there comes a poinn in time when you have say, no, you are not an artist and that is not art, you are a just dick head, because that is what this teacher is, he is a dick head who has no talent in his entire being.

And it is time to stop catarting to them and start putting them in the place, and I am so sick tired of hearing people say, oh but you cannot judge what is or isn't art. I assure you as an artiste an a appreciator of the arts and freedom of expression, you can jude what is and what is not art. And a guy using his ass to paint and putting it on the internet is at the top of the list for what is not art.

Boycotting Wholesale Framing

There is this company called Wholesale Framing that I am calling a boycott for because I just heard an ad  for the on the radio and as far as I am concenred it was pro poaching and animal smuggiling. Bascially the whole commercial is this guy who calls them becasue he wants a shadowbox, and first he is like, yeah I have a trophy elephant, not the whole thing just its head, and the woman from the framing place is just laughing, and then he is now would I get a small shadowbox, for some madagasscar hissing cocaroachs that I also collected, then he says, should they be dead do you think? And the woman says yes.I do not care if it is just a commercial or suppose to be funny or whatever, as far as I am concerned it is in poor taste, and it is supporting participating in illegal activity.

Advertising for Morons

I just saw the stupidist commercial, and I have seen commercials like this before, and I just do not get what the people whom make the commercials are thinking. This one was for some vacume that was is suppose to beeasy and convient and in the commercial they show a woman with a regular vacume cleaner, and first they show her trying to vacum under a chair, but the vacum does not fit, and instead of just picking the chair up and moving it out of the way, she just keeps ramming the vacume at the chair trying to make it fit untill she ends up knocking the chair over, and then in another scene they show her trying to go upthe staris, but the vacume is still plugged in downstairs and the cord is not long enough so she just keeps walking trying to take the vacume upstairs while pulling on the cord instead of just unplugging it and then walking upstaris with the vacume to plug into another outlit, becasue most houses have more then just one outlet in them, and usually there is at least one outlit in every room so I am pretty sure that there is an outlit upstaris she could use.

I mean who are these people trying to advertise to? Retards? And how does showing a person who does not know how to complete the simplist taks with a regular vacume prove that thier vacume is better. You know the phrase user friendly, which is usually applied to computers and other decives of technology, well the people that make these kind of commercials should just call thier porducts moron frinedly. Because they way they advertise it is not for just the average person, but it is for the same kind of people they need a warning lable on a box of rat posion telling them not to eat it.

Theater Rats

I was listening to the raido and they were talking about something that I myself have experinced before and fail to understand, becasue it makes absolutely no sense. That is when you go to the movies, and the theater is praticaly empty, and you choose your row and sit down, and then later someone else comes in, and the row behind you is empty and the row in front of you is empty, and they come and not only sit in the same row you are in but practicaly on top of you. I mean seriously what the hell is up with that? I hate that, and it really makes no sense at all, not an iota.

If there are any people out there that have done that, why would you do that? Do you just enjoy being an asshole in genreal? or are you just that moronic? I mean what could be in your possible thought process that when you enter a near empty theater you decide to sit directly next to someone else? When there are empty seats all around? Do you think they want company? Because I got news for you, they don't. That is one of the good things about the theater, it is one of the few places in public where you do not have to enteract with the public, in fact you are not suppose to. You are just suppose to sit there and watch the movie. So why don't you sit your ass down somewhere else.

Fakers and Pretenders

There is this sort of phenomen which I have noticed in some blogs here and there which just strickes me as so completely fake that it bugs, becasue why dosen't a person just say what they mean to say instead of trying to pretend something else.

What I am talking about is those people that try to cliam that the reason they have a blog online, becasue what they have to say is so personal that they cannot trust to write in a traditional pen and paper diary for fear that someone else might see it and read it.

So if I am to understand this correctly, but what they have to say is so seceet and deeply personal that they fear writing it down in a private diary which they could then hide anywhere, even under lock and key if nesscary? But the information would be more secure and private when posted publicaly on the internet? Now am I the only that sees the hypcorisy in this?

Now if for whatever reason a person is in a situation where they really cannot hide or conceal the things they write down, and somehow thier computer is more secure then you know, when establishing a blog there is always the option of setting so that only the author can read what is written, but if you are posting something in the public eye on the internet then you are not looking for privacy my frined. You want people to read what you saying.

I do not know if it gives you some speical sense of drama of voyerism to act as if what you have to say is so top seceret and confidental that you cannot even write down in a personal diary and the only safe place for such informoation is to boradcast it over the internet, and I do not know who you think you are fooling with that act, but I don't buy it.

Fun with Warning Labels

Ok, I think I just read the funniest warning label ever about now.

There are these honey wheat pretzal sticks that I really like, and I had a bag of them that I was eating and just to pass the time I was sitting there reading the back, all the nutiration facts and such and under the ingredients there was a little warning label thing which said.

This product was manufactured in a facility that uses penuts, milk and soy ingredeints.

Now mind you there are no penuts, or penut products within the pretzal sticks themselves, it is pretty much just saying, this product was made in a facility where there are also penuts. Sierously, what the hell? Are you shiting me? How lame is that. Is that what society has come to now? That we have to warn people, of anything we eat, that might have possibly had some contact, or been in the same room with a penut at some point in time?

I just have to say this, and I do not really care if I offend anyone or not.

People who are allergic to penuts are the biggiest pansies in the world.

Atrorcity

I was quite shocked and dissapointed and enraged by what I have heard. It seems sense the death of Steve Irwin in Australia people have been killing sting rays becasue of what happend. Come on people what is wrong? Are you all a bunch of fucking morons? (Excuse the language here) but first of all don't you get it at all? That is not what he was about and if he was alive he was be outraged, and his friends and family and the people that knew him are outraged about it. It is disgusting. That is a disgrace to his life and death. If you care about him at all and what he did you should make his death worth something by taking the message he tried to teach and doing some good with, not by acting like a shit-kicking hick without a brain in you skull. Secound of all it was just a freak thing that happend. Sting rays are not given to be aggressive, and they ordinarialy are not dangerou, but well when you work with animals you really never know what is going to happen, but it not as if the animals vissciously and intentionally attacked him.

This reminds me of that episode of Reno 911 where the chief died and the police departement were going to avenge his death, and they found out that he died because he had a penut allergy and he bought and ate a candy bar with penuts in it from a vending machine, so they blow up the vending machine. That is how stupid you are all being.

So just stop it I mean sierously what are you acomplishing? Nothing besides proving how stupid humanity is and how much people cannot be trusted.

I Don't Care

Warning for those who are of fient heart or given to senseitvity you are probaly going to be offended by what I am going to say. But I am going to say it anyway, becasue I always do.

As we are all forced to know it is the anniversy, or will be shortly of 9/11 though it is not just the convient name which jams it down our throats but the fact that it is splattered all over the TV, on the raido, in the paper. Everywhere! Frankly I do not give a shit. Now let me rephrase that a little, or at least furhter explain just what I mean. It is the anniversery which I could give a rats ass about. And I really do not think the genreal public needs to have ceremony upon ceremony upon tribute force fed down thier thoats. If someone perosanlly knew someone that was killed then if in private they want to do something that is thier right, but should I be subjected to it? I say not. It was a tragedy when it happend, but people seirously need to get over things. People die every day, that is just a fact of like, in fact I am willing to bet that there is someone this very moment, probaly even more then one dying right now as I type this. Are the people who died in 9/11 somehow better or more sepcial then anyone else who died anywhere else in the world by any other cause? I say no not really. Does jamming the anniverosy of it year after year down the throats of everyone acutally acomplish anything useful? Once again the answer there would be no. It happend, it was a tradegy, people died, end of story time to pack up move on and live life.

Penut Allergy Syndrome

I just heard this story not too long ago, and every now and then one like it pops up in which some school is debating about wheather or not it should get rid of all its penuts and peunt products becasue of people with penut allergies, and for a while airlines were discussing the idea to stopping serving penuts on the tie planes becasue of it and as far as I am concernede that is all a bunch of nonsense.

The rest of the world should not be inconvinced becasue of somebodies allergy. I am sick and tired of these penut allergy people belly aching and bitching and moaning about penuts and wanting penuts banned from the public sphere because they are allergic to them. I know this might be a hard concept for some of you to understand, but here is an idea. If you alergic to penuts how about you don't eat them. Just becasue someone near you might be eating penuts or they might serve penuts somewhere you go does not mean you have to have them. Guess what I don't have to stop eating penuts just becasue you are allergic to them.

And yes I already know some of these people bitch and cry about how well if someone near them is eating penuts and then the penut dust gets in the air and they breath it in it can affect thier allergy, well you know what you can do things to take responseabliy for that. If your alergy is so senstive then either aviod being around people who are eating penuts or if that is not possible you can where one of those surgical mask things so you don't breath it in. And yes I know that will be inconvient for you but guess what it is your allergy not mine so why should I be denied having penuts becasue of your problem? You are just going to have to learn to do what you have to do to take care of your conidition. It is not my responseablity or anyone elses.

Maybe you are allergic to penuts for a reason maybe it is becasue you are such a stupid pansy it is to help thin the gene pool.

And before people stop screaming at me about how thier kid has penut allergy or they have penut allergy or so and so does. I know you cannot control what you are allergic to and that it is something that is out of your control and misfortunate and I am not just against everyone who is allergic to penuts. This entery is specificly aimed at the kind of people who think the world should be focused around thier allergy and should inconcince itself just to accomodate them because they cannot be bothered with taking personal responseablity for thier condition and doing what they have to do to prevent any episodes.

America the Free.......Not!

I just heard this story on the radio that this man who was a human activist was trying to boared a plane and he was wearing a t-shirt which said "We will not be silent" in both english and arbaic, which is a phrase that has been taken up by the Iraquies in the war, and becasue he was an activist then he was probaly trying to make a point and that it was no accident or convincidence, but that is beside the point. It dose not matter what your reasons are, rights are rights, and the seceurity told him that he could not ware the shirt upon the plane. They said that "Wearing a t-shirt in arbic in an airport is like wearing a t-shirt in a bank which says I am a robber"

As far as I am concerned that is bullshit, I do not care if some people might not like it, or if some of the other passangers would not be "comftrable" with it. As I have said before, no one has the right to not be offended, and you can wear any dammend t-shirt you want, it is part of the first addemendent right, freedom of expression and freedom of speach. Sometimes it seems like calling the US a free country is just a bad joke.

Furthermore, eventurally he was forced to comply and wear something over the t-shirt becasue he was going to miss his flight and they took away his ticket for a seat at the front of the plane and made him sit in the back. What sort of nonsense is that?

Gotta Love People

People baffle me sometimes, and that is hard to do considering all the things I have seen and that nothing they do no longer really surprsies me, but sometimes I just got to wonder, what in the world could they be thinking? I was on the way to the movies today, and there was this person driving in front of us, who was reading while they drove. I do not know if it was just like a map or something, it looked almost like it could have been some sort of journal.

But well aside from the obvious that would be a good way to get into an accident, not paying anntion, but I know most people do not think in those terms, and thinks accidents are things that happen to other people, but the fact that becasue she was preoccupied while she was suppose to be driving, she kept like slowing down or stoping, and the thing is, those are exzactly the kind of people that if you were to honk your horn at them, or happen to rear end them becasue they stop or slow down suddenly and unexpictidly would through a big old tizzy fit about it and have the audicity and nerve to be mad at you and would be completely oblivous to comprehend there part in it or see the stupidity and wrongnes in what they were doing to cause it in the first place.

Segregated Classess

I have heard upon the raido about this new experiment some schools are doing in which the 4th grade classess are being split in half along gender lines. So there would be same sex class rooms, mind you this is within the public school system. Most people think it is a good idea, and say that it helps students to concentrate and not be distracted as much or worried about social distractions of embrassing each other or trying to show off to each other and so on, and that they will acutally learn better in this situation. And you know what on the one hand that might be true, but on the other hand I do not nessciarly agree with this system even with the possible benefits.

One of the reasons I am against this, is becasue they are kids, 4th graders, when you are a kid you are suppose to get in trouble, you are suppose to goof off and be distracted, it is part of being a kid, I do not think we need to raise all are childern to be little genusies, or little perfect students. Let them have thier fun, and some of the trails and errs which go along with it. I think we are in a society in which we are trying to make are childern have far more mature minds at ages when such is not needed and should not be. Yes, they need to have an education, but they don't need to be wizes at that age, and ultimately I think that as you get older with time, kids will come into thier own. In highschool I was pretty much a C average student but after I began college, I started getting predomately A's and B's.

Going to school is an experince, and yes it is genreally a misserable experince that few people acutally enjoy, but it is a large part of developing life, and on the one hand yes you go to school to learn and get an education, but it is also a social encounter it is where you learn to deal with people you don't like, it is where you have rivaliers and where you have to deal with certain hostilities and develop relationships and learn to relate to each other, and girls and boys figuring each other out.

And granted I do not think that kids will be damaged by having segregated classess but I think they will loose a certain experince, and in the reel world you don't get to just deal with people you like, and personally I think this whole segregation thing is just another way of trying to shelter kids and I don't think kids need to be or should be sheltered, they need to learn to deal with things which might be unpleasent.

Extreme Feminism

I was just watching The Colbert Report and Stephan Colbert was doing this interview with this feminset Linda Hershman who recently wrote a book of which the title I now cannot remeber and tried to find it online with no sucess, but some of you might remeber when I wrote about the interview Colbert did with a very conservitive woman who belived that the womans place was in the home and that women should be dependent upon men and we should live like we were back in the 50s, well Hershman is on the other extreme of that issue.

She thinks that women should go out and work, now in principle there is nothing wrong with that, of course I support equal rights and I do not know if I would call myself feminest but I belive in the independence and power of women, but where the problem lies is that she belives that women do not have a choice, that they must work end of story. She thinks that women who choose to stay home and raise thier kids are wrong and that they are not totally fullfilling themselves, and she does not accept that some women might choose that. She says she wants women to want what is right, and what is right is for women to work.

Now I would hardly be the stay at home housewife type, though I do not particuarly want a job that would take me out of the home as I wish to be a profressional writer, I am not vieing for any bussiness like posistions and such, but well I have little intrest in having kids and being a stay at home mom and all that domistics but I belive that that is what is fullfilling and right for some women and I think that to tell a woman she cannot do that or she is wrong to choose to do that is another type of discrimination.

I think for one to truly respect womens rights, and the power and indepence of women then they must support women in whatever they choose to do, if that is what they feel is thier right path, no matter what you might think of thier choice perosnally. It should not matter if a woman wants to be a CEO, firefighter, computer tech, engineer, or a house wife and mother or freaking Miss America, just becasue that choice is not right for you, does not mean it does not make someone else happy.

She spoke about how she thinks the reason why women still choose today to stay at home and raise the familes is becasue that is what women have been told thier place was so long, and becasue they feel preassure from society and from men not to go out and find thier independence and cliam thier power, but the same thing can be said about her, the new wave of feminensim and people like her are putting preassure on women to feel like to be of vaule they have to go out in the work place and that it is wrong for them to want to stay home, and that by doing so they are somehow less of a woman or that they are being harmful to the woman community overall.

As a Pagan and a worshiper of the Goddess I embrace the power of women and belive in womans independnce and equality but in that I think that every woman has the right to be what she wants to be, no matter what that is, and reguardless if that path might not be one that I would ever choose or it might not even be a path that I resepct, but if that is what fulfills her as a person and as a woman then that is what she should do.

Familiar Unwanted Faces

Ok it is time for me to be a bit mean right now, becasue I need to get some of my frustrations out. It seems my peace has been cracked a bit. I will not get over dramatic as this will hardly affect me in any big way, but things around JournalHome have grown a bit less pleasent. Though I still love it here and love my blog, and most the people.

But there is one particular person whom has been away for quite a while and so I was hopeful I would not have to see them again, but they have recently returned back to JournalHome, and well I cannot help but to cringe a little when I see thier user name pop up.

I do not care for this person at all, needless to say, and if said person should see this and know I speak of them, well I don't really care, but I won't name names, because doing that seems a little too imature for me, I will only say that I was quite unhappy to see they have returned again.

But that is life.

Deceptions and Rip Offs

I have recently been scrambling around online trying to find some work as a writer or a way to use my writing skills and knowledge to perhaps do some editing and proofreading and such of the like. Seraching countless freelance databases, and I am tired of those that seem as if they are just trying to make money off you. Which obviously if I am looking for work I do not ezactly have the money to spend 200 or 60 or whatever dollars a year.

The thing that makes me mad are the ones which try to lure you in with promosises of free regesistration but then they throw all these hidden fees at you they did not mention up front to start with. They rope you and give you a free profile but then are like, oh but if you want to acutally have acessess to anything you have to pay. And then of course it is impossible to find any way to easily terminate the account you just created.

This is what has recently happend to me more then once and it is really starting to annoy me, becasue it is just taking advantage, they should say up front what the charges are and what you really get for your free memebership which is usually nothing. Instead of pretending like they are doing you this great favor and then saying oh but now if you want to do this, and that and the other thing you need to pay a yearly charge, or a monthly fee.

I just had recently joined up with this database called Writesite that just talked about how free it was and how they were dedacaded to helping writers and so on and so forth but then after you sign up with them you find out that you have to pay 60$ a year to use thier message service, which is the only means they have to allow others to contact you, becasue they do not provide a place anywhere for you to leave your e-mail address. And then of course I have hunted and hunted and there is no where you can go to just terminate the account. So I think I am just going to e-mail them and tell them I am no longer interested.

Before and After

I just saw the stupidist commerical, it was for one of those hair loss treatments, where they say they can like restore your hair. And it was one of those that usues really hair like they take some of your own hair and surgicaly inplant it in the bald spots or something, but the thing that was stupid is when they were showing the before and after pictures. First off it was like not only did they restore your hair but they also changed the color of it, becasue there were a few where it did not even look like the same hair. Like in this own, in the before pitcture it showed this person who had like black or really dark brown hair but then in the after pic the hair was almost blond and then there were a few pictures where it did not even look like the same person, cause the facial features were different.

The other before and after pictures that I think are really stupid are the ones for like diet pills and things like that, where it will be just take this pill and loose weight then it will show the before and after pictures, but the thing is that in the after picture the person is not only thinner but always usually really buff or well toned. And just becasue you loose weight does not automaticaly give you muscle, those are two completely different things.
