Frozen is often a 2013 American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy comedy-drama film created by Disney world Animation Studios and released by Disney Pictures. It is the 53rd Disney animated feature film. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's mythic The Snow Queen, the show tells the storyplot of an fearless princess who sets off while on an epic journey alongside a rugged iceman, his loyal pet reindeer, along with a na�ve snowman to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

Frozen underwent several story treating years prior to being commissioned in 2011, which has a screenplay authored by Jennifer Lee, and both Chris Buck and Lee in the role of directors. It features the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad and Santino Fontana. Christophe Beck, that had handled Disney's award-winning short Paperman (2012), was hired to compose the film's orchestral score, while husband-and-wife songwriting team Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez wrote the tunes.

Frozen premiered on the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California, on November 19, 2013, and went into general theatrical release on November 27. It turned out met with strongly reviews that are positive from critics and audiences, with many film critics considering Frozen is the best Disney animated feature film since studio's renaissance era. The show have also been an enormous commercial success; it accumulated nearly $1.3 billion in worldwide box office revenue, $400 million which was earned in america and Canada and $247 million ones was earned in Japan. It ranks as the highest-grossing animated film in recent history, the third-highest-grossing original film of them all, the ninth-highest-grossing film of them all, the highest-grossing film of 2013, and also the third-highest-grossing film in Japan. With more than 18 million home media sales in 2014, it had become the best-selling film of the year in america. By January 2015, Frozen took over as all-time best-selling Blu-ray Disc in the usa.

Frozen won two Oscars for Best Animated Feature and greatest Original Song ("Let It Go"), the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film, the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film, five Annie Awards (including Best Animated Feature), two Grammy Awards for the most powerful Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media and Best Song Written for Visual Media ("Let It Go"), and 2 Critics' Choice Movie Awards for the most powerful Animated Feature as well as Original Song ("Let It Go").
