we were at site to do the joint measurement of duct locations, which is handled by another sub contractor. guy engr was asking for my men to do the lay out. when i said that i dont have any at site, he insisted and raised his voice telling me to call someone on my staff, so i asked him why should i? and where was the other subcon, if this is supposed to be a joint inspection? he turned his back and walked away saying that they are just witnesses in the activity and we're wasting his time.

second time he shouted was when he ordered me to do the lay outing, and me telling him that i dont have a plumb bob. he told me to provide one, just like what we did with the other areas, so i told him during the other areas i borrowed their plumb bob. he then again shouted and ordered me to talk to daidan, regarding the coordination of the measurement and that he was losing his patience. so i went down and told daidan that guy engineer was already losing his patience. daidan engr was downstairs talking to the consultant because of the safety of the activity. the consultant wanted to reschedule the inspection but the gen con resisted and continued the measurement.

third time he raised his voice was when he was ordering me to do the lay out. i was sitting on the frames waiting for the other subcon to finish their adjustment with the scaffoldings, when he shouted my name and told me to do the lay out, so i said there are still men working, then he shouted that he has already ordered us to do the lay out so many times earlier, so i shouted back at him, telling him, this is about helping each other not ordering us around. that when he told me that i might be forgetting my role, so i turned around facing him, if he kept on talking i wont have any second thoughts squaring with him. coz my patience totally run out.

the gen con engr's are so unprofessional, i dont know what they think of themselves that they can easily shout at other people. well not all now, they have 2 new engrs, karen and gerome. miss karen even had a bit of them ordering her around, so i guess its their nature, their attitude that they think they are superior than other people. she even apologized to me for the behavior of her colleagues, so i told her its not her fault. its them that have problems.
