2/3/2008 - I'll never forget...

The celebration that began when the New York Giants scored the game-winning touchdown against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. The sheer improbability of a Giants win was unbelievable and the fact that the team I was actually cheering for won? Unheard of...

On tap: Philosophy mid-term; discussing the function of bullshit in society. See essays by Frankfurt, de Waal and Preti. As well as some basic philosophy from the great Descartes. I have not dedicated myself enough to the class and thus I've fallen a little behind in my understandings; however, as I began to read through the material we were supposed to cover and comprehend I've found that I am adept in grasping philosophy. All I need to do is apply myself and all will be fine.

Hopefully this same attitude can be reapplied to other aspects: song writing, fiction writing...

This is beginning to sound like some sort of life changing revelation; it is hardly that innovative, but nevertheless, it is a large realization that can hopefully be applied and benefited from.

Though I am not a Giants fan, I did want them to beat New England, cannot stand the Patriots. Decartes is one of my faveorite Philosophers, I find his ideas to be quite fascinating.

I really enjoy Descartes philosophy. As for the Giants, I am hardly fans of them; my dislike for the Patriots is just so strong, I had to cheer for the Giants.
