The months' most awaited movie in the local scene is definitely GMA Films' Moments of Love. From the movie trailer alone, which enjoys generous airtime on GMA-7, viewers see a notably glossy film and a unique setting that bespeak a movie that differs from the plethora of formula movies.

Aside from its captivating cinematography and love story that is unusual yet painstakingly heart moving, MOMENTS of LOVE boasts of superior acting from main cast DINGDONG DANTES, IZA CALZADO, and KARYLLE. The three young artists surprised even the movie's producers and director Mark Reyes (who also works with them in the primetime fantasy series Encantadia which they are all a part of) by the kind of excellent acting they were able to deliver in their scenes and by the way they gave life to their characters.

It is in Moments of Love that Dingdong delivers his first major dramatic role, and it is said that this could land him his first acting award. In the movie, Dingdong plays Marco, a man who is in love with a woman from the past, a certain Divina Buenacer (portrayed by Iza Calzado) whom he meets by some mysterious twist of fate. Dingdong effectively gave life to the role of marco and has proven how much he has evolved into a honed actor capable of tacking intensely emotional scenes. In fact, the movie's cast and crew got so caught up in the emotion of a scene that was shot on location that they found themselves crying while watching Dingdong portray the agony of a man who has lost his love.

Iza and Karylle are also equally laudable in the movie,. Iza portrays her character with such depth that she is able to bring to life the story of a woman from the past who has fallen deeply in love with someone from another dimension of time. Dingdong's real life sweetheart, Karylle, effectively gives justice to the role of Lianne, a woman who is in love with Marco in the present but who is only relegated to the background. Through her superb acting, viewers are able to sympathize with Lianne and feel the remorse of her unrequited love.

Moments of Love will be showing in theaters nationwide starting March 29.
