Al-Emran 79-80

79- NO HUMAN BEING ALLAH GIVES THE BOOK, THE WISDOM AND THE PROPHECY THEN SAYS: BE MY SLAVES INSTEAD OF ALLAH’S.  BUT RATHER SAYS: BE GODLY, BY VIRTUE OF YOUR TEACHING OF THE BOOK AND YOUR LEARNING.

80- NEITHER WILL HE COMMAND YOU TO TAKE THE PROPHETS AND ANGELS AS LORD, WOULD HE COMMAND YOU TO DISBELIEVE AFTER YOU BECAME MUSLIMS.

It is reported by Mohamed Ibn Is, haq that a Christian man from the delegation of Nagran asked Allah’s messenger, prayer and peace upon him: “Do you want us to worship you, Mohamed, as the Christians worship Jesus the Son of Mary?”  Mohamed, prayer and peace upon him, said: “May Allah protect us from worshipping other than Him or commanding the worship of other than Him.  He (Allah) did not send me or command me to do that”.  Allah the Highest also sent His answer in these Ayahs. 

Allah the Highest answers for Mohamed and for Jesus, peace upon them, at the same time clearing Jesus, peace upon him, and all prophets and messengers of such an accusation.

Allah the Highest called all his prophets and messengers His slaves, He said: “AND IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT ABOUT WHAT WE SENT DOWN UPON OUR SLAVE” (S: 2 A: 23)

“AND MENTION OUR SLAVE DAVID” (S: 38 A: 17)

“AND MENTION OUR SLAVE JUAB, AS HE CALLED UPON HIS LORD” (S: 63 A: 41)

“BEFORE THEM, THE PEOPLE OF NOAH REJECTED THE FAITH AND REJECTED OUR SLAVE”.  (S: 54 A: 9)

“CHRIST DOES NOT DISDAIN FROM BEING A SLAVE TO ALLAH”. (S: 4 A: 172)

Mohamed, prayer and peace upon him, said: “I testify that I am Allah’s slave and messenger”.  (B: Janaez; 67 & M: Eman; 178 & N: Kosouf; 15)

Had the prophets and messenger, peace upon them, commanded people to worship them instead of, or as well as God, they would be commanding people to disbelieve.  This means that worshipping others besides Allah the Highest, prophets, messengers or angels, or any thing else, is a form of disbelief.  This is because they are all Allah’s slaves.  Allah the Highest said:

“DISBELIEVED THOSE WHO SAY: “ALLAH IS CHRIST THE SON OF MARIAM”.  (S: 5 A: 17, 72)

Allah also said: “DISBELIEVED THOSE WHO SAID THAT ALLAH IS ONE OF THREE IN A TRINITY, FOR THERE IS NO GOD EXCEPT THE ONE GOD”. (S: 5 A: 73)

Allah the Highest does not accept any partners, of any kind to be worshipped by him.
