Elfin Sanctuary

Sliding behind the waterfall

my arms, my back, cling to the wall

A torrent cascades over my head

a thunderous sound, o’re the creek bed

Hidden access, secret place

gate that guards the elfin race

An arcanum, for a special few

a door that only elves go thru

Sanctuary, now secure,

stories told of elfin lure

Magic comes within these walls

haven here, when danger calls

Elves were here long before man

living in their peaceful clan

So the world has passed them by

protected from its wicked eye
