Instead of taking the morning shift, we had the afternoon shift for tabulating the basketball games today. Our irreg student desperately needed to work on a project in the afternoon so we decided it was good. We very well know the feeling of the pressure, we decided to give him a break. It's also good though that we had this afternoon shift because we saw two games for the Nursing. One was the men's - Engineering vs Nursing and the other, of course, women's - Education vs Nursing. Both games were very exciting. The first one was the men's and at first they were slammed by the Eng'g people. But in the third quarter, they caught up. From a two digit lead it became a single digit and there was even a point when they lead. In the end, they lost by four points. The star of the show was Senoro. I don't know in what year he is but I do know he's cute. He also looked so much like Neil - soemone I know and had a crush on. Their body structure's the same. Well, he's taller. They have the same hairdo. He was clearly a crowd favorite. Weird. After the game, I went to the officials to have the tabulation sheets signed so we could give them to the USG. When I passed by him, up close, he really has a great resemblance to Neil. The next was the women's game. They were in the lead early on. It went as high as seventeen points. They were clearly on a roll. But then third quarter came and one of the best players of Education who was injured earlier came back. With her back, Education managed to cut the lead to a point. It was just lucky that in the final minute of the final quarter, the ball wasn't lost from them and they emerged the winner. With a one-point lead. *whew* Other highlights of our shift. Earlier game of Education vs Arts and Sciences. One time, the Education team substituted the whole team off the court. So when the substitution came, five went out and five went in. It was a bit hilarious because they went in and out of the court at the same time. The future teachers had weird family names: Billiones, Casia, Rosarito, Zapa, Funa. Not that I'm poking fun at them or anything. Tomorrow, another new assignment. Good luck to us...
