Being without job is not the ideal situation in one's life. Even though you may have some savings, it hurts to find out them eroded by the regular monthly bills you must pay. These being said, you feel more and more willing to accept occupations you'd have never considered before. The result can be interesting. In a few instances it may even lead to a new and successful career.
This is exactly what happened to me. Laid off, I soon found myself ready to accept just any type of job, as long as it paid well enough to allow me pay my bills and lead a good quality life. I entered copier sales with out thinking it's going to become one of many passions. When you sell copiers, you need to learn everything with regards to their features and how these features translate into benefits for that consumers. In fact, the sales process is approximately selling benefits that cater to certain needs, as opposed to enumerating the features and technical specifics of a machine, hoping your client is going to get looking forward to them and place and order. The simple truth is people get interested only when they discover your equipment can solve among their problems a lot better than the machines of one's competitors. This revelation has evolved my life and my way of perceiving the activity of a sales representative. Today I'm pleased with being one.
