Goodbyes
One
thing that we have to get used to in YWAM is saying goodbye to people.
This morning we just had to say goodbye to Jordan Hazen who will be
heading back to Hawaii this week. He's been around for a while
now and Caleb's really bonded with him, and Jordan likes Caleb quite a
bit as well. One of my favourite memories of Jordan is when he grabbed
Caleb and put him on a serving tray and walked around the deck at one
of our Friday Night Cafes...
I'm
not sure how Caleb is going to deal with goodbyes as he gets older.
Right now he doesn't really notice it a lot when people leave, although
with some people he keeps looking for them and trying to see them even
months after they have gone home. It will be interesting as he gets
older to see how he copes, and for Tamara and I to learn how to help
him deal with it.
