500+ down to 155

That is what happened to my e-mail inbox tonight as I worked my way through it.  I wish that I could say that I actually answered or completed almost 350 e-mails and requests, but most of them I had to file away in the appropriate folder for future reference.

Anyone know a good way to manage large quantities of e-mails?  I currently have 46 folders and over 71MB of e-mails.  I have considered using a desktop search but with so many to choose from I'm not sure which one to go with.

Choices are:
  1. Google Desktop Search
  2. Copernic Desktop Search
  3. Yahoo Desktop Search
  4. MSN Search Toolbar
  5. Ask Jeeves Desktop Search
  6. etc.
There are a lot more, but that is a short list of what's available.  I'll let you know what I go with and how it works.
