Jesus a "Wise Guy"?

Posted on Thursday, October 13, 2005 in Other
I must say that I have not heard him refered to as a "wise guy" before, but that's what He's refered to here:

A wise guy once said - ´Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get a better return for their labor.´

Kind of funny really, and good way to introduce some of God's truth into the conversation.

Update: Woops, I got thinking tonight about what I wrote and I realized that it wasn't Jesus who said that, it was King Solomon in Ecclesiastes.

Sorry about that...

Yep, I was just about to correct you on that. ;-)

Solomon was granted wisdom by God. He authored Ecc. and most of the proverbs. I often find myself referring to his wisdom.

I've had a few people point this out to me in person or over Skype, but thanks for reading...
