Back from Vacation
Okay, I probably didn't start this blog atthe best time, right before two-weeks of holidays, but now I am back atwork, so I'll go from here.It was a good two weeks overall. We had a few hickups, likeusual, but we got a bit done in the garden and spent some time with Tamara's brothers. We even had a full day at Magnetic Island, which was nice. Next time I take a holiday though I am going to make sure to leave at least the city, if not the entire state andcountry...
I came back to work to find two more people in my office. Unfortunately though they aren't working in IT, they are down from Darwin preparing for the National Leaders Meeting that starts in a months time. I guess that having a nice clean and big office can have some draw backs, as well as the obvious benefits.
Jon leaves IT at the end of this week to do the School of Digital Communications. I am suposed to get someone in the next rotation, but he will be in lectures for the first four-weeks, so I will have no help this month, or during the NLM. That is going to be quite stressful I reckon, especially when we get 200 or so delegates here for the NLM, all wanting Internet Access, and all wanting to hook up their computers to the Internet.
That's all for now, so that I don't bore you too much. I'll write more later in the week.
