Van Tuong Nguyen Hanged Today
Despite the pleas of so many from Australia, New Zealand and the International community Van was hung this morning in Singapore for Drug Smuggling.Apparently he was courageous in death, after finding a growing faith in Christ while in prison leading up to his execution. The Singapore authorities would not even allow this young man to hug his mother in the days leading up to his death. Around Australia there is a lot of talk about how this event will negatively affect relations between the people of Australia and Singapore for many years to come.
