Are All the Good Domains Taken (for a Tech Site)?

Posted on Sunday, March 5, 2006 in Web Development

I need help finding a domain name for a tech related site...

A friend of mine (David Couper) and I are wanting to set-up a tech web-site together.  We want to write about what we do, which is IT stuff in a non-profit organization.  Here is a bit of a list about what we would look at writing about:

  • Terminal Servers (Linux and Windows)
  • Network Servers and Services (file servers, mail servers, etc.)
  • Getting Operating Systems to Co-operate (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux)
  • Web Development (a bit, but not too much I don't think)
  • IT Training
I would be able to move all of my tech related babble onto another site and have this one to focus more on personal stuff, life in YWAM and other non-tech stuff that I would write about.
This is an ad revenue sharing blog.

So many of the domain names that I want are already taken and probably half of those by squatters, which is making it hard to decide on a good, easy to remember and use, domain name.

Please give your suggestions in the comment section below, I would appreciate it.
