I came out here to try to "figure out who God is". I had decided that previous November to follow after God's plan for my life, instead of continuing trying to work it out for myself, and I have been here for the most part ever since.
Since I've been following God's plan for my life I have been on or led teams of young people within Australia, East Timor, North Africa, Vanuatu, Fiji and Kenya. I have been trained and trained people here in Australia, Kenya, Canada and Switzerland. It has certainly been a different journey than what I would have picked out for myself. I am quite often reminded of my the saying that "If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans...".
I'm still a full time volunteer with Reef to Outback - Youth With A Mission (YWAM) here in Townsville. At the moment I head up the Information Technology (IT), the video conferencing (GENESIS) and the Web Site areas of our ministry.
I have also been married since May 5, 2001 to an amazing Australian woman named Tamara and we have a 3-year old son named Caleb and a newborn baby named Jessica
