Planning for more YWAM Communications Schools

Posted on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 in YWAM
Stephen Bryde just arrived at the YWAM base in Burtigny, Switzerland to do the YWAM School of Design. You can read about his arrival and travel shock (a more accurate term than jet-lag I think) on his blog at A Bird with No Wings: my room in burtigny.

The YWAM School of Design is one of about four communications schools that we want to run at YWAM - Reef to Outback. By Stephen doing the school it will get us one step closer to us running the YWAM School of Design in the first half of next year.

Right now we are already running the YWAM SDC (School of Digital Communications) but we are looking at adding another four communications schools to our training scope in the next few years. These schools include the School of Design, the Digital Video Production School and an IT School we are developing that is currently called the Global Youth Technology School (or GYTS since YWAM loves it's acronyms so much).
