Going Deaf???
Okay, the noise in my office isn't going to make me deaf, but the volume that I have to run my headphones out to drown out the sound might make me go deaf. 10-people in the office, all talking isn't very conducive to me actually getting work done. Today was pretty much a write off for my IT work.This morning went really well though for our GENESIS link with Loren Cunningham, the founder of Youth With A Mission. Last night I went to bed not having heard from the people in Kona, so I was a nervous coming into the office with only 2-hours to go until the start and no news that the people running the link over there were ready for it. Thankfully when I set-up my computer I had a nice e-mail from them saying that everything was ready to go!
So at 9:00 we linked up with Kona over video conferencing and were able to hear from Loren about some very good teaching on what it means to lead out of love and about some principles of why we do what we do and how to ensure that our ministry is aligned with God. One of the draw backs is that I don't always catch all the teaching, so unfortunately I missed a good portion of it running around making sure the link went well. But the reports of the teaching sounded pretty good...
