BBQ
While Tamara's parents were down in Adelaide for the last two weeks Ken, Tamara's dad, celebrated his 59th birthday. So since we were not with him for the birthday we celebrated it with them last night at our place. We had a BBQ roast on our new rotisserie and it was SO good! I have never actually used a rotisserie myself and I was very impressed. It was very easy and so moist! I need to say thanks to my parents for the rotisserie since they gave that to me for Christmas. There is a circus in town this week. Caleb doesn't have the attention span to sit through a whole thing but yesterday Caleb and I went for a drive in the morning to look at the trains (Caleb calls them "toot toots"). While we were driving down to the rail yards we drove past the circus and there were a bunch of animals outside the big tent. So I stopped and Caleb had a good look at the elephants, some monkeys and some horses. He likes acting like a monkey so it was quite funny to watch him try to explain to Tamara what he saw when we got home.
I've been listening to some podcasts today just to see what they are and to look at what it takes to have a good one. The ones that I have listened to so far have been okay, but I don't think I would keep listening to them for much longer. I also downloaded an audio novel, so I will see what that's like. I've been trying to find agood bible/sermon/devotional podcast, so if I find one I'll post it on here for those of you who are intersted in downloading and listening to it on your computer or MP3 player.
Well, Tamara's got a girls night here at the base, so I am going to head home right now to have dinner with her and Caleb before she has to leave.
