Confusion in week 4...
Well, after flying throught the first 3-weeks of training for my on-line course I have gotten a bit stuck on the fourth week of the course. In it I need to create a Master Document, which is actually pretty cool, but I am stuck on creating a "table of figures". Every time I follow the directions on the web-site it doesn't work. I even followed the directions on the Microsoft Web site, and that didn't work. So I don't know what to do now. Tonight I suspect will be another night of study, I just hope that it goes better then last night. I almost mashed the "undo" key through the keyboard, which would be pretty bad especially since I have a laptop...I was contacted by my training facilitator today which was good. That means that I can now send in the first three weeks of activities, and hopefully the fourth week soon as well.
We have decided to try toilet training Caleb. He is actually pretty good at letting us know when he has to go, and today at Kindy/Day Care he did really well according to his carers.
This morning we had a meeting with all the married couples here at Reef to Outback. It was good to hear what they had to say about our roles here on base. Even though we might not have a lot of official leadership here, we carry a certain amount of authority just because of who we are. People here, especially since they are mostly young, naturally gravitate towards the families for a sense of home and normality. With that being the case we need to be carefull about what we communicate and project to them. That's a bit scary really if I think too much about it...
