Finished Week 4
I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with the "Master Documents" activity. It turns out that your captions have to be on the same layer as your text, but I had them on the graphic layer (I didn't even know that Word had multiple layers). Once I read a whole bunch of help files I finally figured it out and created a "Table of Figures". I sent all six of the activities to my facilitator today, but she won't have them back to me until Monday next week. I guess that I will just push on with the next lessons and activities and wait to hear back. Unfortunately if it takes a while to get all my activities back then it might take me longer then the four-weeks per cluster that I would like to take.Oh well, we'll see...
I had a really good chat on the phone this morning with a guy from Kazakhstan about Information Technology in YWAM and specifically at Reef to Outback. I always find it refreshing to talk to other people who are not at Reef to Outback about IT and how it can help around the world. Sometimes it feels so very dull here working on the same things day after day, mostly doing maintenance on the systems and maintaining the Help Desk e-mails and questions.
