Podcasts?!?

Ever since I-Tunes came out with support for padcasting the downloading of podcasts has certainly slowed down a lot...

Here is a list of the Podcasts that I subscribe to:
  • The Wizards of Technology
  • Typical PC User
  • Sam Whitmore
  • IT Conversations
  • Home Network and Computer Help
  • Geek News Central
  • this WEEK in TECH
  • /Nerd: Tod Maffin's CBC Radio Tech Column
  • Career Opportunities: The High-Tech Career Handbook
  • EarthCore: A Podcast Novel
  • Buzz Out Loud from CNET
  • ChuckChat - Technorama

By far my favourite Podcast would be Geek News Central.  If I only have time to listen to one Podcast, this would be the one.

Another one that I go out of my way to listen to is ChuckChat - Techronama.

Also very good is IT Conversations.  I don't listen to all of what is downloaded, but a lot of it is very good stuff.  They record various keynotes, interviews, etc on many different topics, some of which interest me, and some of which don't, but because they are just .mp3 files, I can listen to the ones I like, and delete the ones I don't.  There are quite often from real jewels in these ones (like what I'm listening to now).

Most of the the rest are good (I haven't listened to EarthCore yet), otherwise I would delete them already, they just don't apeal to me as much as the other ones do.

I have often wondered about doing a Podcast myself, but I don't reckon I have the time, knowledge, or listening base for people to actually be interested in what I have to say.  It would probably be about Information Technology for Non-Profits, or something like that.

Now, if I could only get an MP3 player to listen to these on instead of my laptop...
