Web Server (WAMPP) report
Well the XAMPP installation has been working very well for me for the most part. The only hastles that I have is that some plugins with some modules haven't worked write, and the multi-user WordPress instalation didn't work at all, and the multi-blog Nucleus installation did the same thing when I tried to set it up for multiple blogs. Also I have been stuck trying to get the Event Calendar working with Drupal as I can't figure out how to add a new node that can be used for events because I get an error with that module every time I try to use it. To be honest I am not sure if it is a problem with the XAMPP Web Server, with the blogging engines, or with the plugins. And unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to figure it out, so I have just had to give up on that for the moment.
What I would like for our Reef to Outback site, and probably for the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) bases site as well, is something almost identical to this service, JournalHome, but I haven't been able to find the source for it, so I don't know if it is a package that can be deployed elsewhere. It would be the perfect solution for our staff and students to communicate to people through a blog. Anyone reading this know if the source code is available for JournalHome?
