WordPress Templates

Posted on Friday, August 19, 2005 in Web Development

I'm having a pretty difficult time right now customizing the WordPress templates to meet the needs for the All Access web site.  With Drupal I can grab one document that goes through everything I need to know about the templating system, but with Wordpress there seems to be about 30 different documents that you need to to read in order to put it together.  I'll admit that I am very much a novice at it, but I am finding it a tad difficult to work with at the moment.

Drupal seems to be a great system for web content management and blogging and it would be my first choice, except that I can not get the events callendar to work because I can't make the flexinode module work.  From what I've read I'm not the only person having the problems, but it doesn't help me when they want the site up ASAP.  That's why I'm looking at Wordpress, which I have made an event callendar work with, but am having problems with the image gallery.  Next week I'm going to have a look at a different gallery, so hopefully that'll help me get it fixed up...
This is an ad revenue sharing blog.

Hopefully in a few weeks there will be a new web site for our All Access Team.
