I really do not get why ruining the experience for someone else is such a huge get-off.

After that article I am absolutely not clicking on anything else with 'Harry Potter' in the title until I've finished the book. I just hope I can read the whole thing in a weekend. That may be tough since it's reportedly almost 800 pages and we're having people over for John's 19th birthday on Sunday if my mom's up to it. Not to mention the fact that I have little ones to look after (though Larry said he'd help with that so I could spend as much time as possible reading).

The more I see about spoilers, the more certain I am that the full media blackout so many fans are doing this weekend is a great idea. Mine may just have to extend a bit beyond Sunday.
