The Deliverer Jun 26, '07 11:30 AM
for C a T i C a T's contacts

The circumstances seemed vaguely familiar. She was married to a man of her age and of the same secondary school origin as hers. She was in her thirties with no children when she met this young man a decade her junior. He had told her not to worry. She wondered why.

The scene switched to a merry gathering of high school classmates, full of fun and laughter. When they got home the following day they received news that her female classmate had died that day after the party. Her grief-stricken heart was suddenly beating as mine. She was in sobs as I felt my eyes swell the same time.

The young man had carefully explained the nature of his existence in her life- to guide her in her task to ensure that their fellow scholasticans would pass away in the most blissful manner, with only memories of happiness to bring when it was their time to journey towards the afterlife.

She held the guy’s hand by her right and wrote with her left on her journal as she was ambidextrous. It was on the round dining table where she accepted her fate and started scheduling her next visits to people she know of from different ages, so she can keep her responsibility of having those people leave a mark in other people’s hearts before they cross the border, before it was their time. She only hopes to have a happy ending done as it was written. The young man will be by her side as she takes the courage to become the deliverer.
